Boating weather

Took a trip down to the boat today where Ed was fitting recently recharged batteries - fired up first time - result - sadly it was a little too rough to take her out - but we'll be in the season soon.

Sadly - these gin palaces are not ours.................

A "flyer" free Brighton

Brighton has it's fair share of flyposters and leaflet distribution going on - looks like the council have had enough of this type of activity - this notice (slapped on a lampost - and no - the irony isn't lost on me) lets us good residents know that it's going to be outlawed soon.

Little black dress

Currently running at the Brighton and Hove Museum is the exhibition of little black dresses over the last 80 years or so.

All the obvious ones are there from Dior etc etc (what do I know about little black dresses?) but also from fairly modern designers such as Bruce Oldfield.

Three little birds

Back from hols and I wanted to indulge just one shot from the mountains (Yes I know it's meant to be Brighton Daily Photo) but i couldn't resist the "Three little birds" pun.

After the storm

I had my own casualty as my M'bike was blown over and into a wall - needing new handlebars, mirrors etc etc what a pain.

On Vacation

A bank robbery!

A bit of a commotion yesterday outside our office as police officers apprehended a bank robber

English's Restaurant

Just at the entrance to the Lanes (old) is a famous restaurant called English's and this is their unique signage - any guesses which rhyme this is from?
