Starlings over pier...

Since the demise of the West Pier, the starlings that used to roost there have slowly started to move across the 1/2 mile or so to Brighton Pier.

Quite a spectacular display most evenings now as they swoop and turn before making themselves comfortable for the night under the pier in the struts.

Interesting post. I assume a lot of fish are there too waiting on those who are sick or die to fall in.

Is Alfred Hitchcock standing on the pier?

Gorgeous picture! I love the colours, but the flock of starlings really make it.
