broken and yet to be to resored to former glory - the brighton bandstand photo, complete with seagull on the top (i couldn't believe my luck) just shows that all places deserve time and effort. Dean Harvey.

Hi Dean, a beautiful structure. It really should be restored. I find there's something special about the architecture of that time of which, I'm told, Brighton has a lot. Contemporary with the great exhibitions - London (Kew Gardens), Paris (Eiffel Tower) I think.

Hi Bob - There's a load of this type of architectre in an around Brighton. The real shame is that a lot of it has been allowed to fall into disrepair. On the plus side - there seems to be a lot of renovation work commissioned - so hopefully we'll see some of this stuff in it's former glory.
